Buck Creek Jazz Band leader Frank Mesich has made available a unique Tunebook andCD collection.
The Buck Creek Band was active for 31 years. The band's tune book has been in preparation for over 50 years starting in high school and extending through bands in four different states and, finally, in Washington DC.
The Tunebook has approximately 300 of the band's favorites. Lead sheets were adapted from many sources including records, sheet music, big band arrangements and compositions by band members. It is available for both C and Bb instruments.
