A NECESSARY COMPANION TO THE GREATEST PLECTRUM BOOK.

IT JUST ARRIVED!!

Oh, that I would have had this last year when I started. The logical and methodical manner things are presented is exactly to my learning style. The accompanying CD's are invaluable -- without them the books would not be complete. The other impressive thing is the professional presentation in the books. Hands down, the best I've seen. Everything you advertised and more! Great job. Thanks.

MY WIFE HAD TO PRY THE BOOK OUT OF MY HANDS

Each day since I got your (shipping confirmation)e-mail I couldn’t wait to get home from work to check the mail. Today it happened .. there was a package waiting and my wife had to pry the first book out of my hands for dinner; and as soon as I send this e-mail I will have my nose back into it. [It] is great!

I RECEIVED MY [BOOKS] AND WAS ECSTATIC!

Just a quick note to let you guys know that I received my Volume I and II manuals as well as the CDs yesterday and was ecstatic. I cannot believe how much is packed into both of these instructionals. I have been looking for a little extra motivation to continue learning at home and now I have found it. Thanks so much for all of your hard work and effort to provide excellent materials for the aspiring plectrum player.

SIDE NOTE: I am a member of one of the string bands in Philadelphia (“MUMMERS”) and highly appreciate your inclusion of many of our staple street songs – Golden Slippers, Alabama Jubilee, Four Leaf Clover and When Your Smiling. Great job!

Wow, Dave's explanation of relative minors has enlightened me beyond belief!!

I've struggled with that theory for way to-o-o-o long now and FINALLY, a totally digestible approach that I can understand and make work.!!

All right folks, if Dave's book contains explanations like this mini 'lesson', I can't be without it, and would urge anyone who is sniffing around the edges of theory, to latch on to it!

TENOR PLAYER SAYS, " .. AND BOY AM I GLAD I ORDERED IT!"

I am a beginning tenor banjo player (about a year and a half) but I ordered your plectrum guide anyway. It arrived four days ago, and boy am I glad I ordered it! The general music and banjo information in your guide is incredibly useful. With a little ingenuity I have no trouble at all adapting the plectrum notes, chords, and exercises to tenor. And with your Chord Conversion And Transposition Chart I have already created my own chord melody arrangement for tenor banjo to a song ("Memories") from just the standard lead sheet. This is the first time I've ever attempted such a thing and IT WORKS!!

Your guide has opened up a whole new world to this learner.

After only four days with your guide I'm very impressed with the few sections I've tried out; I can't wait to see what happens after I've studied the book completely. I would recommend this guide to anyone who plays tenor. I'll get far more than $75.00 worth of banjo learning from it!

YOUR BOOKS AND CDs ARE SUPERB ... I LOOK FORWARD TO PRACTICING EVERY NIGHT.

I just received my package of The Ultimate Plectrum Banjo Player's Guide and have to tell you that even though I'm only at the first set of exercises in Chapter 2, I have learned more, with complete understanding, than I did with all of the previous lessons I had taken.

I am now excited and motivated to learn as much as I can.  Your books and CD's are superb...I look forward to practicing every night.

Thank you for producing such a fine instructional set.  Now, it's up to me to practice, practice, practice!!
